After reading GoMangoMan's thread I was inspired to do it myself

His directions were very thorough and I got the inserts off in like 30 minutes. I then started painting.

Total time was about 2 hours, and most of the time came from waiting for paint to dry.. And getting this new parts runner truck :)

Thanks all! I did it with plasti dip just incase it didn't turn out well. But boy was I wrong. Just make sure when plasti dipping anything to make sure the can is a bit warmer than room temp,or else it will come out blotchy.

Congrats,
Looks great.
Better than when I tried to plastidip mine, by leaving it on the hood and trying my best to protect everything else with newspaper lol.
I guess I`ll redo mine anytime soon thanks to your write up

Glad I could help! Just make sure to take your time while taking thinks apart. Some of the plastic clips could be dry rotted and brittle.
