I have a dark red ram and I just swapped bumpers with my brothers and I'm trying to get no chrome. I don't want to tint them because it cost too much and it's only headlights so I was wondering if there was a more inexpensive way to take the chrome away (if not most of it) from the headlights. Thanjs

Send them to Jeremy @ Retro and let him paint the bezels. He did mine, and they make all the diference in the world. They look tinted, but don't reduce the light output at all.

You could also open them up and paint them yourself. That what I did. Lots of work but well worth it.

I bought a set of mint near-new quads off Kijiji for $100 and for $25 in materials, painted and re sealed them. But as mentioned above it is a LOT of work to do; baking and prying them apart without wrecking them is tough.

At the time it was only $200 to get em done . . . Well worth it to me when you consider the time, the hassle, the agrivation, the materials, and the uncertainty. Not to mention the cost if you happen to screw up one, or both of them in the process. I was happy to defer this job to the expert, and the results were worth it.

Certainly can't argue that. JJ's work is awsome! Way more intricate than anything I would dream up.
