BlendMount Installed

Just installed the blendmount I ordered for my Passport Escort 8500 radar detector! This thing is so badass! Sturdy, hard aluminum, mounts my radar detector cleanly to my rearview mirror, which is also where I hardwired it to, so there's barely any wires! Shibby! It's a lil expensive, but definately a high quality product! :********:

For sho! Now I'm working on hard wiring my TomTom. Once I get that done, Ill be almost wireless! lol Trying to consolodate all the wires/wiring into the rearview mirror power plug.

No, it doesn't have the Nav. I haven't actually seen anyone yet with the nav. Already have a huge TomTom XXL though, so I'm happy with that anyway.

Great looking product and a hell of a clean install! I used to use a radar detector but I actually got pulled over more with it. I think I depended on it too much. Now I just watch how I drive where I'm driving.

i get pulled over when i turn my down through the miles of construction here in tulsa and forget to turn it back up. i kind of depend on it too. i dont speed i only go 40 in a 35, lol

man i thought i was going to get my ass busted yesterday. i was following a tahoe on the way to take dani to school and wasnt even paying attention to my speed or the speed limit. then we popped up over a hill and i saw them, po po's coming. i immediately got the oh **** feeling and slowed my roll, i was about 7 over. the cop then turns around and races towards me and i get the nervousness in my stomach from the thought of paying a 100.00+ ticket. then as soon as the other lane clears he flips his lights and i thought i was going to get it but he went right around me and got the tahoe. ahhhh breath, man i hate the feeling you get when you know youre going to be pulled over. if you dont know the feeling you must have not had a fun childhood or got caught.
