Lol my supervisor gave me that shocker car freshner and the pin for my birthday last year. Just found it in a drawer, still wrapped up, so I thought it would look good there. Smells good too!

Used to have the sticker on the back window, but a first shirt saw it and made me remove it. Said if he saw it again it'd be my ass. Lame...

I use a ProClip mount for my TomTom. Love it. Ran the wires through the dash for power. No problems with reception.

Proclips are pretty nice, I have one for the van and the truck. Not cheap though!

I use one for the TomTom and another for the phone. Good solid mounts. I have the powered ones so no cords to plug in, just wire them and forget. TomTom is wired to continuous power, hate the shutdown and restart. The phone is wired to ignition on power.

Meh....I have run a radar detector for years now. They used to really save ya but with sooo many cops having LIDAR now they are almost completely useless.

I'm getting one of these blend mounts for the new ride. Does anyone know which wires to tap into to hard wire it to the mirror? I have the escort hardwire cord but just need to figure out which wires to tap into.

My tumbleweed pic was just the resemblance of what it feels like around here to me. Seems to me that not a lot of traffic moves through this site as some of the other enthusiast forums.

Got the answer elsewhere in case anyone stumbles upon this site by accident. The 12v switched wire is pink with a light green stripe.

meh, I don't see it, but you are on here a lot more so I'll have to take your word for it. The only reason I joined anyway was cause of your light building skills. And since you are already well underway in this project, I'll be content with that.

But I look around and see posts go for days and weeks without traffic, vendors who don't respond, and certain sections get the most attention. Your right, for less than a year, not bad.

I have the little overhead console on my 13 RCSB express. It has 2 push on map lights and the small light that shines down when the headlights are on.. Im thinking of tapping into the powersupply for the 2 push button lights to power the radar detector. do you think there is enough available power to run it?
