I had a blower motor fail recently, i bench tested it and it was dead, installed an new aftermarket blower motor. works fine. BUT every now and then, it has happened twice so far, the blower motor will not come on, i have to turn the key off and on a couple times then it will start working.
A little more story. my radio asked to do a over the air update, but i was driving, had to schedule for that night to update, but i dont know if it ever updated, my neighborhood has bad cell reception, but ever since the update request the blower has been acting up, not sure if its related?
Another part of the story, dont know if it matters, a couple months ago, i got in my truck, turned the key and nothing. Checked the battery, its ok, i have an auxiliary battery installed so i used both batteries and same issue, nothing. shut the door and remote started it, put the key in and went about my business. hasn't happened since.
