i haven't had a chance to look into yet but is it possible to be the resistor if 1, 3 and full speed work and not 2? Thinking it also may be the switch.
Anyone have an issue like this before and what was it?

In all my years of experience as a mechanic, 90% of the time it was the resistor block. The switch doesn’t generally go bad, but it does happen. I’d replace the resistor block.

I just picked up my '13 outdoorsman and noticed my 2nd position on fan does not work either. You are not alone if you find a fix please post it @CapeRR

I've had it happen and it's a resister block. It's an easy fix to replace it. Its NOT the switch. Find a tutorial on U Tube to show you how to do it..

Great thanks. Def would be an easier fix.

I know my old Ford and other cars it was always a resistor block. Could you post a picture of where it is if you find it? Usually it's somewhere in the ducting which helps cool it down.
