Hey Steve,

VinylDecals.com | Side Flame Vinyl Decal Sticker

I see that 6' is the longest listed on your website. On my truck that will run from the fender behind the tires almost to the end of the rear door. I thought that would be alright, but I'm having 2nd thoughts. Now I'm not sure if 6' is long enough. After looking at the truck a 9' set would put the flame tips at 1' from the front of the rear tire fender. Is a 9' possible? (I realize they would cost more, but are they doable?) I have pics of my truck on my profile and other threads if you need to see it to get an idea of the length.

Also, I was wondering if you could do the same flame style to go across my hood? I didn't see that available on the website. The solid would run the width of the truck even with the chrome of the grill at the front of the hood and flame back to the windshield. If you need measurements let me know.

Will I need any kind of solid blue to "fill in" spots such as behind the headlights or fenders? Do you think that the truck would look fine with 3 sets of flames and leaving the open whites alone?

Sorry so long, but I don't want to screw this up. Once it's here, It's mine and I hate the big decals to start with. I got a rear window decal for my fiance about 4 years ago. It still isn't on her truck. (This spring definitely!)

Thank you for your time.

Sorry everyone. Didn't mean to make it sound like this is only for Steve. PLEASE chime in with any questions or comments. The link in the post above may not be the style of flames appropriate for my truck. They are the ones I like the best, but not necessarily the ones I go with. Like I said, I don't want this screwed up.
Thanks.

We can do larger. The flames at 108" long are around 36" tall. You may want to measure the area of your door to see if that is too tall. This would also cause the decals to come in 2 pieces as it is taller than a roll of vinyl, so it will be split up into 2 pieces.
Another option is to add some seperate pieces of flames behind the design to make it longer.

As for the hood decal, I'm having a hard time understanding what you are trying to convey. It soulds like you want a decal with the flame to go from the grill towards the windshield. We can do that as well. Just need to know the dimensions we are working with.

I'm not sure what you mean by filling in spots behind the headlights or fenders.

You are correct with the hood. I would like the decal to go from the grill to the windshield and i will get you the dimensions.

Now for the difficult part. If I am correct the decals for the sides would start at the rear of the front tires at the fender wells. If that is correct then I would have white truck over the tires and in front of the tires to the lights on the fenders instead of blue that would lead to the flame. This would be the "filling in the spots".

Basically,

I would have flames on the hood and from the fenders behind the tires unless I put decals on the fenders in blue to cover the white.

I have a pic somewhere of what I'm looking for. When I find it I'll post it, but hopefully you know what I'm looking for.

Thank you.

Like this, only the silver will be white and the truck will be an "04 Ram 1500 SLT long bed.

so you are pretty much wanting to flame out the front of the truck and have all the decals flow together so it looks as one.

I see what you mean now. A design like that requires us to custom design a flame graphic that will flow together. A rough estimate would be somewhere around $500 with design, graphics and shipping.
