I have no experience with the WeatherTech rain guards but I have used the stick/glue on type. Don’t use the stick on style! What a royal PITA trying to remove them. I used a heat gun, solvent and fishing line and it still took me two day to get all the residue off. Made a couple of scratches in the paint too. I know there are rubber adhesive removal wheels that may work well but I’d personally avoid the stick on style.

They are great items, and the in-channel will not affect your window operation at all.

Just ensure you install the rear window visor clips properly

Also, install them in a warmer environment as one needs to gently massage them into place.
Doing it in the cold could have you break something.
