I just bought a 2026 Ram, first vehicle without a CD player. I bought two different external USB CD players and experienced the same issue.

Both players only play the first 5 tracks on every CD. They do not recognize any more tracks. This has to be an issue with the audio system or touch screen.

Not to mention, my touch screen freezes and doesn't work right.

Anyone have any thoughts on a good CD player? Don't tell me nobody uses CDs.

They were great back in their day but rip your CD collection to MP3 and load them all on a USB flash drive and have them all at you fingertips.

I was thinking same thing. I have done that, but it is hard to control to limit to one CD's worth of music, which I like to do when on my way to a concert like next weekend when I go see Journey. CDs just give that satisfaction that old-timers like me enjoy. And as a former club DJ of over a decade, one of the best things to do is try to figure out why a CD was arranged in the order it is in and I still think about that today.

Okay, back to living in the now.
