Looking at FCP Euro's website, they have some decent packages for fluid/filter/pan changes on the BMW 8HP variant. My question is - has anyone used one of those kits on our 8HP?

Based on the PPE website, the applications for their RAM 8HP pan also list BMW part numbers (BMW 24118612901 to be exact), which FCP has 2 kits for (one with ZF fluid and one with non-ZF fluid). Price is cheaper, but its also readily available to me (I live within minutes of FCPs "store")

Was curious if the pan is somehow different, or if I should just suck it up and order the Mopar one and wait for it.

Thanks!

I imagine, while you might be on to something, that you'd be better off waiting on the Ram option; to put an answer into simple terms. The components might have different flow and pressure rates, the pickup tube may even be located differently, etc.

Post a link or picture to the pan,if it has a sump at the front,it'll work on the trucks.
