Was working on my 2nd gen over the weekend(new to me) . While taking off the rear bumper assembly to replace noticed some of the nuts/ bolts are linked together. Long story short out came the hacksaw blade to complete the job. When these things rust and fail there really is no way to get a wrench on the nut/bolt. Also ran into similar with the bushing end of the track bar but luckily it was not rusted out.... probably from all the oil dripping on it over time. When replacing the hardware will definitely be using regular nuts and bolts. I'm sure this made original assembly easier but of course no consideration for repairs after the sale.
