We bought a really nice 2006 Ram 3500 today from a private seller to pull our 5er. Shopped around for weeks and this one was the best we found. The engine light came on 1/2 hr later on our way home. The codes that came up are:

P0532 and P0643

Needless to say, we're frustrated that we're going to have to spend money to fix whatever is wrong. I'm sure they turned the light off and sold it rather than fixing the issue. Has anyone had experience with these codes?

No direct experience but from what im seeing the p0532 seems to be one of the a/c pressure sensors may be bad, the other code could be on as a secondary of the first code. In other words replace the pressure sensor and that may be all there is to it. Sometimes "on other vehicles ive worked on you can change the sensor without losing any refrigerant. Double check this before attempting to remove. First check wiring visually from the sensor for damage, ie mice chewing , laying on a hot surface etc.
