So I have a 05 qc 2 wheel drive. It sounds like my front end is literally falling out. Happens only over small bumps. No noise at all on the highway. No shimmy no sway. Not pulling. Not shaking or nothing. Just noise! I've checked everything and I mean everything. Upper/lower ball joints. Inner outer tie rods. Shocks springs lca bushings. I've jacked this thing up 5 times in the last week and can't find anything loose. I replaced the sway bar bushings and links but that's wasn't the noise. I don't get it. As loud as it is you would think it should be easy to find. Something should be obviously loose. I know what I'm doing. Worked on cars for years. Anyone have any ideas or ran into this kind of problem? Could the bj's be making this noise even though they're tight and the boots aren't ripped? Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah that's one thing I'm hoping it's NOT. Lol. Well I just had my son rock the truck vigorously while I was underneath and I still see and feel the sway bar moving. The sb frame bushings look ok but there's definatly movement up and down. Gonna replace and see what happens. Don't think that'll do it but who knows, it's cheap and easy and needs it anyway.

Well I replaced the sway bar frame bushings and I can't believe it, noise is gone! Sounded so much like a ball joint.
