Bet my wife's vehicle is airless. She is one of those who waits until the last second to apply the brakes. :rolleyes: I on the other hand let the engine do at least 25% of the braking.

I've done many brake jobs where I just could not get a firm pedal even after bleeding a gallon of fluid through.... Until I go drive the car and tromp the brake pedal HARD at least twice... I go about 20-25 mph and am VERY careful. Going in reverse is a sure thing to cause ABS activation when the brakes are slammed on. On a dry day, it can be very difficult to get the ABS to activate because the tires won't skid.
