Brake help

I have a 96 ram with 5.2. I need help finding the proportioning valve under the master cylinder.

Try rock auto. They usually have stuff like that.

Craigslist or a junkyard then. That might be your best bet.

I would price the part from a dealer. I have an aversion to using junkyard brake parts.

^^^ I agree used brake parts is not in my books. It is an dealer only part and it comes as a kit, master cyld, proportioning valve, anti lock valve. About $700 if you get the rebuilt parts or over $1600 for new.

Is there a way to bypass it altogether.
