brake lights keep blowing

my 2004 1500 Hemi keeps blowing brake light bulbs... came with a towing package with a pigtail and I just put on a through bumper plug adapter.... everything works fine for a week or two then a brake light blub blows... I have changed both tail light circuit boards and all new blubs

any ideas would be great
