I just slid the 81 lb box in the bed of my truck...thanks for all the questions being answered to DavidRam, he's been more than helpful.

So question to the masses, how many have installed without the Spohn adjustable panhard bar and or sway bar? Should i just get the swaybar and see?

Thanks all for info, Ive just seen alot posted with people just adding them to Expresses, and no other issues, dying to see if I can add now, or need to order more parts. LOL

I think the Panhard bar would be the more important peice so you can get your rearend centered. Swaybars are iceing on the cake for handling since we have a decent one up front stock and if you have the tow package you have one out back too.

I would install it and see what else you need later. But hopefully some more guys can chime in with their opinions.

I know a few guys on here that just run the kit and nothing else...

I agree with what David ram said install it and see if you need anything else every truck is different its more for centering the wheels and not like a lot of guys think to solve the wag it just moves it somewhere else if you do have it

Now hurry up and install it and post up pics

Yeah, try it without it first. I installed the BT 2/4 on my 2014 R/T and have not felt any need to update the panhard bar - the included adapter worked fine and I did not have any issues with getting everything lined up (and no "wobble" at any speed).
Can't speak on the sway bar - my R/T came with an OEM one.

Rear sway bar is sufficient.
The front Hellwig is only gonna make a difference at high speed cornering, at normal speeds you won't feel any difference. The factory front is pretty strong.

I talked to UNBROKEN about the saybars and this is what he told me, "If you do the bars do front and rear, not just the rear. They're made to compliment each other and just adding the rear bar will overpower the front even at it's softest settings. The rear bar has 3 different settings to dial it in. They make a HUGE difference as a pair. If you wanna corner fast they make a ton of difference".

I'm right there with you, got my kit about two weeks ago but just haven't had time to put it in. I'm also going to try the kit by itself and hope I don't get any wobble.

That makes perfect sense in theory...

After lowering my truck and installing the rear swaybar, I tested my truck with and without the front swaybar. During everyday driving there is no noticeable difference. There is a difference when cornering very quickly and aggressively, especially on a rough surface and/or while braking into a turn.

Also, I did a little slalom at about 35mph and I did feel a difference with the front swaybar. But that isn't an everyday driving situation for most of us. ;)

true. not an everyday driving for most but for the rams that didnt come with the sway bar its good to always add it. more parts is better than no parts...:signs8:

Totally agree. Mine did not come with the rear one, no way I would go with out it.

Sorry, I think my previous post was confusing. I just read it again and didn't know what the hell I was talking about! Lol!

IMHO (and after testing different options): Rear - Adding rear swaybar is mandatory. Front - Factory front swaybar is good, unless you like to get crazy when cornering, then upgrade to Hellwig. If money is not an object, upgrade to Hellwig front and back from the get go.
