Budget Friendly Headers

Saw these headers on protuninglab for 190.00, was wondering if they are any better good. I don’t need the best just something better then stock. If you have any budget friendly options let me know. Appreciate any help!

You get what you pay for. How much is the y pipe you're going to need to make those headers work?

Headers might not be the best place to try to save money. There are about 5-6 different manufacturers that make headers for 4th Gen Rams. They make both shorties and long tubes. Shorties are historically cheaper in price but seem to do a good job, however the long tube headers, which are more expensive, seem to give better performance. Off brand headers and cheap knock offs usually present "challenges" during installation and in the end can sometimes cost you a lot more than a good quality set of headers would have cost in the first place.

If you buy cheapo headers plan on adjusting them with a 20# sledgehammer, a sponge for a sweatband, and blast your music so your neighbors dont hear you screaming.

I bought Shorty's jba ceramic headers for my 14 2500 4x4 and the passenger side dosen't fit. Driver side went in nice, had to bend the dipstick. And after a week on a car and about 50miles of driving from the shop, on the driver side header, it started to rust. Shipping them back tommorow. And I paid $640.

I've read several posts that seem to say that long tubes give more performance, but you lose some bottom end. I'd rather go with shorties and a decent y-tube.

I have a set of ARH with cattless y pipe sitting here waiting to be installed. Definitely not cheap. Matt from moes says I’ll notice a huge improvement. I sure hope so.

Before you spend that much on 409 stainless, do a search on 304 and 409. Just a heads up.

I love them! Only design for ram that doesn't throw check engine lights for a catted y pipe if you didn't run a tuner.
