I got this one, and love it. It come in smoke and chrome. Auto anything is a preferred vendor here but the want almost $20 more for the same thing, maybe they would be willing to price match.

I have a chrome aeroskin on mine and have seen on it where rocks and stuff have hit it after road trips.If it were not there i'm sure I would have some nice nicks in the paint if not dents.

That AeroSkin actually looks pretty nice.

I always liked the functional idea of bug deflectors, but I hated that crap always got between the deflector an the hood. I've had many over the years on a variety of vehicles and always had that issue. AeroSkin looks like it wouldn't have tat issue as bad.

They will protect the leading edge of your hood, but I've never seen one that actually kept bugs off the windshield. Maybe the term "bug deflector" actually means they protect the front of your hood from bug guts. LOL

I had one years ago on a Bronco that actually worked TOO well at keeping things like bugs off the windshield. I say too well because at anything over 50mph, the windshield washer wouldn't even hit the windshield. The washer fluid would spray towards the windshield and the current from the bud deflector would pull it away and up before it reached the glass.

black, here's a pic so you can see what it looks like on a white truck and it don't keep the bugs off, I got it to cover up chips from rocks

I had the same issue on an '80's Ford. That was old school flat deflectors. They would also make any water laying on the hood move away from the windshield at speed. I'm sure they were great for gas mileage too! LOL

I ordered one for my truck as well, It's hard to tell if it actually works but it looks good and I like to think it does!
