Hello all. It has been a while.
2012 Ram.1500. I have an issue with the plastic inside the cluster. What started as a line, it has now grown exponentially, seeming like it's been "burned" for lack of a better word. Has anyone else encountered this issue? All the pictures are with the truck running. When the sun hits it, as with the flash, it is impossible to see anything. Thanks!

Seems like you're asking a question, but it's not clear what that question is. Obviously you'll need to replace the gauge cluster lens. Looks like they have been discontinued by Ram, so your choices are limited to new old stock, used, or possibly aftermarket. Or you could replace the entire gauge cluster. That's not a common issue if that's what you're asking. I don't even have a guess as to what caused it. I can see how that can be an issue in direct sunlight, but at least it doesn't affect any of the actual gauges.

My guess it's heat from the LCD. LCD displays can produce heat after a while. Last I remembered that part was avail separately.

Edit: Mopar parts page is acting 'funny' ...I can't sign in right now to look the part up. But you can look up Mopar Parts Online and put your Vin in and look up 'Gauge cluster lens' or something like that.

Yes, sorry. The question was if this had been seen by someone else in here, because I looked all over, and couldn't find anything with a similar issue.
