Busted OBD port

2004 ram 5.7, I got it with the obd port connector is gone, so the wires(fine, just ripped out of plastic connector) just hang there. I have to tape the ends to avoid shorting within the dash and lights. I've ordered multiple obd port connectors(just the plastic) and none work/fit. I can't find one that will work, can anyone point me in the right direction? Mahalo

I have a Jeep of the same year and when I need bits like that I go to the recycling yards. You can probably get the connector and the wiring harness portion that goes with it for a few bucks.

Ah, then EBay has a bunch of recyclers selling used parts, you might try that.

No one sells an OEM of aftermarket one? Besides sitting through eBay. That’s what I’ve been doing, and I’m starting a collection of ones that don’t work. Haha.

Take a stroll though here. Its a connector repair site. I use it all the time to get wire color codes. At work and can't hunt it down for you.
