Looks like mine just failed, getting the constant service dings/lights. Dealer quoted me $1500 to fix it with used parts if they can get them and get reimbursed when the fix finally is approved. Very frustrating at the beginning of summer when I'll be pulling my boat and RV all over the place!

Perhaps you should consider fixing it yourself with assistance from RF members or hiring a competent local shop.

If a stealership is quoting $1500 for used parts, you're likely to be able to complete the work yourself for half the money.

If you had to eat $1K of cost to have your truck available, might that be money well spent?

I have a 2018 3500. They keep telling me no parts available as of 4-26. They have had me in a rental since 8-25! I'm driving a 2026 Ram on their dime and am getting reimbursed weekly for the rental. I'm wondering when they'll finally just buy my truck and put me in a new one...
Who's paying for the rental? This doesn't sound like a bad deal, getting to drive a new truck and saving the miles on yours if it's not costing you anything.
