I'm about to have 37x12.50's installed soon on my stock wheels. I seem to recall the sidewall on the inside, being pretty close some some suspension/steering part on atleast one side.

For those of you with stock 17's and 37x12.50's, did you have to run any wheel spacers to keep from rubbing up front on steering/suspension or in the rear on the side of the leaf spring pack?

I would go look but I work out of town and my truck is about 4 hours away and I won't be home until the weekend (when I was going to get them mounted)

I believe 35s fit fine, so if 37s have an issue, it's most likely while turning, and they're probably hitting a control arm.

I think we may be referring to the same thing, but by control arms, do you mean the link bars?

The bars that connect the axle to the frame? There should be two per side, I think lol. An upper and a lower and they sort of look like femur bones lol

Does the Mega cab have a solid front axle?

If so, there should be a steering stop (a bolt threaded into the steering knuckle) that you can adjust.

With my jeep, I got longer bolts with nuts (to act as jam nuts). Just be sure to get grade 8 or higher bolts. You will lose some turning angle, but hey, these long trucks can't make a u-turn on a single lane road like a mini cooper anyways.

If you haven't already, "THUREN" makes front control arms that you can install that move the front axle 1/2" forward. This allows clearance for beefy 37" tires without rubbing. I have a set of leveling springs along with the control arms from them. Haven't installed yet, but will post pics when I do this summer.
