It's got a miss at idle, and throws a code. I haven't checked it. It seems to run perfect when you step on it. Anyway the giveaway I think is that it starts easy when cold, but hard starts when warm, and I smell raw fuel after a hard start. Like it was flooded. Anyone?

A sticky injector? Like one that's operated by the camshaft on a diesel? I don't think this engine operates like that...

The injectors are electrically operated, and they can and do stick open. Misfire at idle and flooded are classic symptoms. Which not stating a diagnosis by any means. My answer to the title question is no. Using information available so far. Maybe someone else has a better crystal ball than I do.

Most parts stores these days will pull your CEL codes for free if you feel you don't need or can't afford a code scanner.
