I've been fooling with putting HID headlights in my 2011 Ram for a few weeks now.. first I did the install to find they flickered and went out...then I installed a relay harness to power them on a separate line just to see they did the same....and now the CANBUS canceler/resistor..... Well the Resistor did the trick and the HID's stay on with no flicker..BUT..the resistor/canceler gets pretty damn hot ......so how hot is normal ? I haven't actually put the headlight assembly back in the truck yet as I'm running them with the truck running..to make sure they're ok before installing totally as you can see in the picture..So as I wait a while to make sure they stay on I'm also keeping an eye on the heat.

Hmm...Well I guess that's a good thing then....I just put the other side together and have them both on...gonna let them sit on while running for a while before putting the grill and everything back together....I'm getting tired of taking this apart
