talk to Nick at Gotexhaust.com he's a preferred vendor here and he can hook you up. He took care of me.

I am totally not an electrical person, what is all the issue with canbus and what is it? I guess my age is showing, I'm used to buying a bulb, put it in and if it comes on I'm good to go.

I believe 2014 and up use a canbus system . It shows errors on your dash or a light is out/tire pressure etc . With leds u need a canbus compatible bulb so there will be no errors and flickering . I think . I want to up grade my fogs(9006) and my low beam heads (h11) so I’m trying to find a good inexpensive led that won’t flikcker or show errors.

LEDs are not the best choice for your application, you’ll have an unpredictable and unsafe beam pattern. This is one of those times where you do it right or you don’t do it at all.

All of these new features are gearing toward people who want to get in their car and drive it, thats it don't check oil, lights, air pressure nothng, someones in the lane next to you, something is behind you, something is in front of you. they simply want the car to drive itself and take care of itself. I actually enjoy going over my vehicles now and then to make sure everything is ok.

Just watched a test on many led bulbs, and this was the case. Most wasn't even near as bright and the light pattern was all over the place.

I was thinking of changing my interior lights to colored led's, now I'm thinking I be better off to leave them alone.

Pretty sure you can replace the interior bulbs with LED without any errors. I did it on my 2013.

I did the interior lights with the LED's. I did have to make sure which way they are put into the socket.
It has to do with positive and negative when in the socket. Mine are nice and bright, much better.

I have the godawful stock headlights on my truck and after reading many posts here came to the conclusion that the LED conversion was a vast improvement over the stock light. I have a 9005 conversion with the needed adapters that I think cost around $135 for the pair. the light improvement was phenomenal, however that is based on extremely dismal as the starting point. I am now heading in the direction of replacing everything with projectors and hope that will be the end. The OEM headlights barely lit a dark road. The LED conversions made a visible difference, but only in the sense of better than nothing.

I just ordered a h11 and 9006 for my fogs . bulb facts .com is a great site and tool to use for picking a good led that gives u both brightness on the road and quality . the one thing that is a must with most led are you will have to adjust the head light after install .
