My heaights on my 19 classic are aiming up higher than they should. Tried to adjust them through the hole under the hood and no movement. What can i do to fix them?

Are you using the correct holes? Two sets of holes in the fender but you only use one of the holes on each side. 7MM socket works best. But you can use a T-15 (Reflector) or T-20 (Projector) My friend swore his were "broken" but he was trying to use a phillips head screwdriver. Also, it takes a LOT of turns to see any movement. Like well over a dozen turns to move it an inch. Don't expect any noticeable change with 2-3 turns.

When i turned them it felt like i went about 10 or 15 times, maybe i didnt i didnt count exactly, but i moved them a lot. Yes i used the correct one with a 7 mm socket. Im at a loss, ill go at it again tomorrow and try to count how many turns

OEM lights? Aftermarket? Did you have the light housing out of the truck? Are you sure the housing is seated back in the truck all the way?

Not necessarily, if they weren't completely pushed back in the bolts will still go in and they will seat to the point that you think they're tight but there's actually a gap between the lights and the actual metal rad support of the truck.

Yup exactly. It's an easy mistake. I hope that is your issue. Also, while your in there, make sure your bulbs are properly seated in the housing, and that the led chips are facing 3 & 9 o'clock.

I did the same on my old ranger when I put a set of Spyder projectors in it. Couldn't adjust enough, and it turned out I had caught a little groove in the plastic sleeve in the bottom mount... Little wiggle and my lights went in another 1/2"... It wasn't barely noticeable other than couldn't adjust down enough.

Sometimes the white clip you push up to unlock the back falls down during reinserting them.

Thank you. I will try to make sure everything is correct tomorrow

Make sure the LED bulbs are not contacting the rear dust caps on the headlight housing, that could prevent you from adjusting them

That would have zero effect on adjustment. They call is part of the whole housing that moves when you adjust. The bulbs themselves don't move
