Can't find all the options on my 5.0 radio

Every time I turn on my truck, my seat warmers and steering wheel warmer comes on. Not a big fan of having my junk cooked, so I'd like the default to be off, and I'll turn them on as needed. According to the manual disc, it's one of the options on the radio (I have the 5.0). But I can't see to find it. Is it just not there, or am I looking in the wrong spot?

Maybe someone will correct me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that any climate control function on the radio was with the 8.4 RA3/RA4 models and not the 5.0 RA2 and below.

On page 66 of the 5.0 UConnect Owner's Manual it states the following:

Auto Comfort Systems — If Equipped
After pressing the “Auto-On Comfort” button on the
touchscreen the following setting will be available:
• Auto-On Driver Heated/Ventilated Seat & Steering
Wheel With Vehicle Start — If Equipped
When this feature is selected the driver’s heated seat and
heated steering wheel will automatically turn ON when
temperatures are below 40° F (4.4° C). When temperatures
are above 80° F (26.7° C) the driver vented seat will
turn ON. To make your selection, press the “Auto Heated
Seats” button on the touchscreen, then select either “On”
or “Off.”

Yup, I read that, but it doesn't come up on the menu. Very odd. I'm just wondering if anyone with the auto on feature have had the same issue, or if it shows up on theirs.

it can be done. i have the 5.0 in my chrysler 200 and have the option in there.

unfortunately i dont have it memorized how to do it off hand without it in front of me.

Odd. I have no auto on options. Auto off, yes, but no auto on option. Is there supposed to be other choices, too, or just that? I'm wondering if because the heated seats aren't standard, if that is the reason it's missing. Somehow has the wrong program in it.
