Is anyone running a capacitor in their audio systems to help with the battery drain? Any ideas or brands to look at. Also pics of installs would be good. I am thinking about adding one as I am in the process of wiring my system up and thought it may b a good idea.

Spending money on a capacitor at this point in your audio system would be a waste in my opinion.... it may take you a few steps back depending on the capacitor and application
put money elsewhere at this point.....thats good news

A capacitor does not "help with battery drain". A capacitor sits there, unused, until the system needs more power.
You know when You have the "History of Miami Bass" jacked up real high on Your system, You hit a real low bass note and Your headlights dim? That is what a capacitor fixes, it supplies juice when the system demands more power than the alternator can handle in very short bursts.

a cap actually puts resistance inline during normal listening meaning you dont get the full power potential to the amp. a better route is a 2nd battery with an isolator. that way if the truck is not running only the 2nd battery is powering the stereo so the 1st is saved for starting.
