Cargo Cam Wiring Harness

I've got a 2018 2500 Big Horn 8.4 without the cargo camera. I was hoping I could buy the 3rd light with camera and plug & play since the Laramie has them from the factory. Based on what I'm reading, am I correct in coming to the conclusion that the wiring harness/connector for the cargo camera is not behind the 3rd light on my truck because it didn't come with that option from the factory?

you are correct since it did not have that option the camera wiring harness most likely is not there. If you remove the light and look at the harness there should be parts of the harness that would plug into the light. One for the lights and one for the camera. I installed one on my 17 1500 that came from a 3500. The light worked fine I needed to make and run the camera harness to the radio and enable it using the obd tool.
