I know I mentioned this in another thread but figgered I'd dedicate a new thread to it.
Just as the title says, got an Anzo 3rd brake light assembly that's full LED and the problem is, the LED's for the cargo lights stay on at a much dimmer setting even when the switch is off.
After a quick Google search I found out I'm not alone. Talked to someone at Anzo and they said that it's a thing with Rams that, there's still a minute flow of current on the circuit that isn't picked up enough to illuminate the regular incandescent bulbs but is however enough to light up the LED's to a faint glow and that pretty much the only fix is to add a small resistor or resistors to each side of the cargo light circuits but he didn't know what size/resistance resistor to use.
Has anybody had to deal with this? Apparently it's not just limited to Anzo products. From what I saw in my research today, there was a few different brands of LED 3rd brake lights doing the same thing. There was even one guy who had the same problem with his factory light after he disassembled it and installed LED panels in it.
Please help.
