As part of the last weekend of summer, I took the kids on a little four wheeling adventure to Shoe Creek. It's a mild offroad trail with numerous water crossings, a few tight spots, and lots of overgrown brush/trees. The trail is about 6 miles long and takes a few hours to complete.

The kids thought that we were on a death defying trail of tears. There were lots of giggles, gasps, and even a few screams!

The video is all shot from the perspective of (and by!) the kids.

Sucks about the glass dude, but those are amazing memories for the kids...they'll never forget dad's truck and going out playing. Hell, I still remember my dad's '84 RCLB Chevy as the baddest truck on the street.

The window really doesn't bother me. As much as I baby my truck and treat it like a street queen, it's our family fun mobile. We take it on the beach, go "exploring" in the snow every year, haul our boat, etc.

I hope this is a trip the kids remember for a long time. Their favorite truck adventure was when we took the truck to the beach for Easter. Somehow the Easter bunny even found them out there and left their baskets!

Looks like fun times.

My daughter always says when she gets in "go faster daddy" then my youngest just starts giggling.

You were right in my neck of the woods Frog! Shoe Creek is a pretty awesome spot for wheeling and camping. We use to try and go at least once a year, but I never got to take the Ram. We would do half the trail at night, camp out and party, then finish it up the next day. Great times!
