I have to do my driveline service and I was looking at different gear oils. I know that Redline Gear Lube is popular, and I have no doubt that it's very good. Alternatevely I am also partial to Castrol products, and looking at the spec sheets and manufacturer approvals that their European Syntrax gear lubes have, I am pretty tempted to use them in my RAM 1500.
Here is the spec sheet for the 75W-140: https://msdspds.castrol.com/bpglis/...C9F77368025843B004F4BB4/$File/BPXE-BEAQ2P.pdf
Here is the spec sheet for the 75W-90: https://msdspds.castrol.com/bpglis/...654D44C8025843B004F581D/$File/BPXE-BEAQ47.pdf
I found them on Amazon at $22/1L bottle for the 75W-140 Limited Slip and $13/1L bottle for the 75W-90 Long Life fluid.
What do you guys think? For about the same money I can also buy Redline fluids.
Thank you.
