Catalytic converter removal

Was thinking about removing my catalytic converter‘s Or hollowing them out on my 2017 1500 5.7 litre

Anybody tried this ? If so Did you throw any codes?

Yes. You will need a tune to adjust the tune slightly and turn off the code for the rear O2 sensors. If you dont set the O2's to ready in the tune the code will pop up

Yes, it will set off your check engine light and throw off your fuel mixture, you cant get away with it like you can with older vehicles, you must have a tuner to adjust the settings in the computer to compensate for no cat.
