Catches blow by and keeps it out of the intake.
Basically keeps your engine cleaner. Some say waste of money, but I, like many others have it and love it.
you can spend 100-200 for the Billet UPR catch cans made for our trucks.
Moes has some, check them out.

It basically removes your PCV system. PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) takes the gases that build up in your crank case through blow by and recycles it into your combustion chamber to be re-burned in an attempt to decrease emissions. Really all it does is take ****** air that's mixed with oil and already burnt gas (reference the pic below) and pumps it back into your intake, which gums up your valves, spark plugs etc. The can mounts inline with your PCV system and "catches" the crappy oily, gassy, air before it can be re burnt. And it definitely works.

I'm sure there's lots of mistakes in the description above, for which I'm sure I will be corrected. But you get the gist. :favorites13:

Sorry I didn’t post a pic. This was my first dump after installing. It’s been full since at very dump. Wouldn’t want that **** in the intake! Well worth the $100.8C4A72F0-F25E-453B-B7B7-930DFC1FF29F.jpeg

Thanks to the OP for asking, and all for answering. Always appreciate the knowledge shared. Obvious newbie here.
Are these Good for “all” Hemis? Asking for my 2019 5.7 that tows nearly every day.

I have the Ebay one. 1.5 years and no problems with it. I can't believe the crap that it catches. Whenever I empty it, I look at it and shake my head thinking "That could have went into my throttle body." Whatever one you get, get one with a valve on the bottom. That way, you don't have to take it apart all the time. Much easier just to flip a little valve, with a throw away paper cup under it.
