Iam sure that there are countless threads about this just cant find exactly what Iam looking for does anyone have pictures of thier cb whips and the way they are mounted and the kind of mounts they used using the bed and not the tool box as i dont have one Thanks

with a 102" whip, I would run one...you hit a tree limb or something, it's liable to rip the mount off the bed.

Yeah Iam not running a 102in whip iam doing 36in

I have a 102" in my garage... anyone mount one to their rear bumper?

I know this is a 2nd gen install but mine is on the inside of the bed...keeps it from getting shaved off.
I've nicked a couple of low branches with no issues...also have a vintage hold down up front to store it out of the way and keep it functional.

I would probably use something like the Firestik SS-194A mount with the fold down mount (tsfd100)

I'm sure there are some less expensive mounts out the but that just gives you an idea of the style

thanks for the help and i think i might get the firestick but iam still going to wait and see if i get a few more ideas

I have a skip shooter fiberglass whip mounted to my rear bumper. Not the best location for it but I was tired of having my mag mount on the roof and hitting stuff and looking silly. I still get about about 10 miles with it on a good day.
