Center console lower storage stuck closed

I've got a 2012 outdoorsman, the center console lower storage lid won't open . Any ideas how to get it open?

Mine sticks when it’s cold but works fine when it warms up. I’ll post a pic of the mechanism so you can see it, may help.

I would think a small screwdriver would work while operating the hand latch, just be careful they break easily.

How did you get it opened??
It happened to me now! The bottom of center console is stuck shut and no matter how I press & push I can’t open it!
