Yes these parts will work from 09 to 2012 trucks , I have about 650 into my swap . I got all the console and dash parts off ebay for cheap . Hooking the shifter up is easy and it all works like stock . I have 4,000 miles on after my swap and 0 problems . Just make sure you have all the parts , theres alot of little stuff.....

Hey whitehemi would can you explain or maybe post pics on how to get that shifter to work. That's the biggest thing for me, I've been wanting to get the center console and shifter ever since I bought my truck but hadn't been able to find solid enough information to justify trying. Now that I've seen that you did it I have a renewed interest. Thanks for any help in advance!

I was missing a part so my shifter was not working right with out it .....Now everthing works like factory ...Best mod i have done to my express ...So make sure you get all these parts in order to make it work 100 percent right . You need wiring harness 68024883AC SHIFTER JUMPER WIRING to move the wiring in the column to the console ,It just makes your column wires longer to plug into the shifter in the console .

All this with a used console and console radio bezel are need to swap it in a truck with out a console .

Do you still need the rest of the parts if it comes with the shifter or do you just need the SHIFTER JUMPER WIRING?

Here is a little update on this . I could not get the 115v plug on the dash hooked up so the next best thing is to cut it out .

The rusty bracket is the front console mount . It bolts in where your lower cup holders mounted to the dash . The white round plug is where your shifter cable from the tranny mounts to the console shifter . The wire harness is where your shifter jump harness plugs in . It just extends the manual shifter controls on the column to the console .

yeah id like to possibly work a trade out with someone that wants a console. this was the only truck i drove and loved it so i never even thought about the column shifter. i have the same interior as the op minus the woodgrain around the radio. not sure how it would work out maybe we would have to meet?

Gonna pick up the SLT longhorn kit and nervous about what hiccups Ill run into. The dimensrions match and the bolt pattersn match however I am curious of the center/radio bezel. I'd like to NOT have to replace all that too

Okay digging up an old thread but I'm trying to locate some parts to do this swap, found a good deal on a console but can anyone tell me if the 13 3500 Laramie console is the same as the 09-12. I've been doing a lot of comparing pictures of the dash bezels, consoles, and this console trying to get an idea if it's the same style and all as the 12s and so far it looks the same but it's kind of a big gamble if it doesn't fit...would much rather know for sure if it's the same.

I'm not so sure that's the case. Another seller has a 13 2500 longhorn console and then separate a 13 2500 longhorn dash bezel and the bezel is the newer style not like the old ones.

Forgot they changed the bezel. But from what I can tell the console looks the same. You might not be able to use the cd player that is in it
