I’m doing a center console swap in my 2014 1500 and I’m wondering if this is the cutout to route ducting for rear ac? If so, what’s a good way to remove the cutout? Thank you!

Soldering iron with a chisel/blade tip. Razor knife works too (especially if you get it hot).

+1 on the multi tool. A soldering iron works too but you still need to clean up the little globs of plastic with a razor knife. If you don’t have a multi tool Harbor Freight sells a cheap Chinese made electric corded model for about 12 bucks on sale and they are almost always on sale. It works well for the occasional use DIYer.

Question about the picture.

Was it taken from the seat looking forward towards the engine compartment

If so, the thing that i think that i see is the
2 HVAC Actuators for the #1 & #2 Mode Doors

This is a GEN #3 HVAC
It is basically the same as a GEN #4 unit

Watch the first 4 or 5 minutes of this video.
After you do, you will know more than 1/2 the people on this site, mostly about the Door Names
It even shows where the Rear Cab vent would be located

This would be the tube that carries the Heat & A/C to the rear of the full floor console

the part on the rear of the console
