Changing clearance lamp bulbs on 2500

I have a 2013 Power Wagon and I don't care much for the orange clearance lights on top of the truck. I'd like to change them to white if possible.

Anyone done that and do you have pics? Anyone have a bulb number?

I have the clear ones on my 2014 2500 4x4 and want the smoke ones. You may be able to buy just the caps. I want smoke ones, just haven't really looked for the smoked lenses.

I have clear lenses but the bulbs are orange. Your actual bulbs are white?

Oh no. My bulbs are amber too. If I'm not mistaken, well here in the US. If you put clear bulbs in those up there, they get listed as offroad lights and you can be pulled over and ticketed for running clear bulbs up there. I was pulled over many moons ago when I had a roll bar in the bed of my 85 powerwagon and had lights on it. I was told that it was illegal to run anything above eye level on a vehicle on the road. And all I had on was clear marker lights then. Not the big spot lights. And the cop said any clear light.! But that was back in 1990. I'd ask your local police.

I'm not worried about the legality of it. The police in my area don't bother with stuff like that.

I'm sure you could go to one of the many places online that sell LEDs and get some that would swap in.

I'm pretty sure Recon sells replacement bulbs along with clear and smoke lenses.

I have the Recon smoked lenses with LEDs but they are still amber lights. Just order up some 194 LED's and replace the bulbs.

Thanks. Wasn't sure which bulbs to order. I may get the smoked lens too
