Changing tune on a long trip?

I have an I2 with a custom tune and have been running the 89 tune for a long time. Gas mileage really isn't a concern day to day but since I put 35's on it has dropped to around 15 mpg. I am ok with that but will be taking a 1000 mile trip this summer and thought about putting the 87 tune on the truck so at least I'm saving 20-30 cents a gal on the pump. For the guys that have ran the 87 and 89 tunes is there much of a difference in gas mileage or will I just be saving on the price per gallon?

Better yet can you run the canned MPG tune?

Nah, I still want my truck to have a little power to climb hills in Ontario.

I ran the canned tune while logging data for my custom tune and on their own couldn't really justify the cost of the tuner. Lol

I go to Ontario fishing every summer and have a deal worked out with my buddy that I'll always drive and he pays for 3/4's of the fuel because he always leases a truck and doesn't want to put miles on his. Last year he griped a little when I was putting 89 in...
