Check engine light after tow mirrors and brake module install

Installed tow mirrors and brake module today now I have a check engine light. I know i have to get it flashed for the module anyway but what else could be the issue or is it because it's not flashed yet

Check the outdoor air temperature reading. There is a temperature sensor in the driver's side mirror, if that's not reading correctly that probably what's causing the code.
There have been several people reporting that they've installed the ITBM before getting the flash without issue. Check to make sure the ITBM flash takes. With the 7" EVIC, the trailer brake should pop up on the dash if you manually slide the lever(even without a trailer). If you have the 8.4 radio there should be setting for the trailer brakes also.

Air temp reads correct and when I got to messages it says 0. Guess I have to wait till Monday when the flash it to know for sure

Make sure your tow mirrors have the ambient temp sensor. My step-father gave me his tow mirrors off his 2011 when he traded it in. My plan was to install them on my 2013 but I found out that you couldn't because of the sensor.

So did some yard work got in now the check engine light is gone so that works lol
