Check trailer break light came on ?

Ok so on my 2019 Ram 1500 with the 4.7 Hemi the check trailer brake came on .. no trailer attached .. why ?

The lioght comes on onceand a while..even when no trailer has been hooked up ? What gives ..

Check to see if the fuses are seated in the fuse panel.

I'd start with looking at the rear connector (up near spare tire, behind bumper) as well as the external 7 pin for corrosion or build up. Take it apart, clean it all up nice and put some dielectric grease on it, every connection. Very doubtful it's a fuse. It is sensing feedback from somewhere making the truck think there is a trailer connected.
