Bought my truck in July 2017. took it home on a Saturday late in the afternoon.
while washing and waxing it the next day after getting off work I found a about 6 or 7 issues with the paint on the truck as I was detailing it. took it back into the dealer on that monday to have them look over the issues. they gave me a "we owe" paper work for them to fix the issues. while having their shop adviser look over the truck he stated that it should be put into a warranty claim since most of the issues were in the clear coat of the truck. well now 7 months after the fact apparently warranty came back and said they were saying it was denied. dealer still said they'd cover my paint work. well took the truck in this Tuesday the 13th to have them do the work. and got the truck back that evening. but one of the major spots I was concerned about wasn't even addressed. on the passenger side rocker panel is 2 or 3 small spots of clear coat that look like they bubbled or something before drying. dealer is saying that warranty won't cover it, but they had given me the paper work saying they would fix the issues but now are giving me the run around on getting it redone and saying oh if its redone we could potentially make it look worse by "over spray/paint run" etc. has any one had to deal with this or have issues along these lines?
