2016 Ram 1500/5.7L/Automatic 37k miles.
When accelerating from a standing stop-under 15 mph-experience a hard thump or clunk. Hard enough to move your head around and is audible. The same thing happens on deceleration. It does not happen every time, but almost every time. Just got it back from the dealer, they say it is the "drivetrain loading up and unloading" and is considered normal.
This did not happen before we took a recent 3.5k mile trip, it started on the outbound leg of the trip. I drove another 2016 1500 with the same drivetrain, it did not happen. Dealer insists it's normal. Wondering if anyone else had the problem and what was the outcome.
Thanks.
