Cold Engine Ticking Noise WANTED TO LET CUSTOMER KNOW THAT IF U HAVE IS ISSUE THERE IS A TSB 09-001-24 REV. B THIS COULD BE COVERED UNDER YOUR POWERTRAIN WARRANTY YOU GET 1 OR 2 NEW EXHAUST MANIFOLDS EASY TO DO I HAVE DONE MANY OF THESES
I have this issue and have the TSB report TSB 09-001-24 REV.C Called dealer, they are checking to see if this shows up on my VIN, however, it shows up on the truck. lol I can even smell exhaust at the front of the vehicle, driver's door, and even inside the cabin, so that's not good. I hope they don't try to weasel out.
My question is that you say it may be covered under Powertrain warranty, which I believe is 5 years, 50K. This TSB only came out July 13, 2024 which is 5 years and 4 months after my build. So how can it be under Powertrain if it only came out after Powertrain Warranty expired. Also, don't (or shouldn't) they have to address this KNOW ISSUE (if there's a TSB) due to the fact that there is exhaust in the cabin which can be harmful if not fatal. If I remote start, when I get in it, it is very noticeable... Any RAM or Stellanis Reps on?
1. Are all TSB's covered if the issue actually exists, regardless of VIN? Regardless of Powertrain Warranty date
2. Shouldn't they want to eliminate a know problem that is causing and internal exhaust, carbon monoxide issue?
