Cold Running Issue

Alright guys, we have ourselves yet another issue lol my truck still has that starting issue, idk what it is. but i was thinkin maybe after doin the plenum, it would clean that up, and get the truck to idle smoother...? But since i parked my truck and stopped drivin it daily, its gotten to the point where if i start it when its cold, it wont idle on its own. I have to hold it revved up a little for like 5-7 mins til it idle on its own. Also, when im drivin it and let off that gas to coast in gear, it backfires. veryyy loudly too lol any ideas here??

have you changed the battery yet?

lol i know, i get the weirdest problems some times.. and the battery is an auto craft silver, dated 9/09 so i think it should be fine. ive never had a problem with it before either.

I got some damn good news !! Well after havin the doors off my truck and not linin em up right after the body work, the battery kept dyin bc of the light around the ignition key not goin off. but anyway, i got a new iac before i started the body work and after chargin the battery today, the truck started up and idles fine It still starts a little hard though, but i think im gonna give up on that issue bc im out of ideas lol
