Help!!
Today i had an appointment to have my 2010 R/T Ram looked at by the local Dodge dealership. The issue i was there to handle was a ticking noise that occurred while letting off gas and decelerating. The ticking stops when i reach about 10MPH or the ticking will stop anytime I turn on Tow/Haul. Some posts I've read claim its a lifter issue, while others say exhaust manifold. When i started my truck this morning it made an extremely obnoxious noise. It could be described best as a clicking or clanking noise. After the truck warms up the truck no longer makes THAT noise but continues to have the previous issue. Dodge dealership claims exhaust manifold will cure it but I'm skeptical.
