Sweet truckin! That lil truck is gonna scream! How much total hp/tq do you think you'll see at the rear wheels? I always wondered how much extra power a cam will actually give you.

Well right now I can tell you my lowend feels about the same really, maybe a slight gain but not/much at all. This cam though starts building power around the 2800rpm mark.

Wow! No ****, that's pretty insane! I never knew that, I was figurings 15-30. Im sure it depends on the cam too, and where it makes it's power in the rpm band.

Exactly! And how quickly you can get into that power band. Its really interesting that the biggest and best cam isn't always the best due to power band/and supporting mods.

mine only sees about 30 hp. tq goes way up though (marty @ krc said i should see around 60-70 increase in torque at the wheels. i havent decided if i wanna beleive that or not lol)

But if you have the mods to get you into it it makes all the difference. Normal driving I don't see much gains, but when I hit the gas and it flashes to my 2800 stal converter and goes, hang on tight. I just haven't been able to do that lately, there is always a cop right there

I definately have a ton to learn about Cams and Torque Converters (stall speed). That's why I love doin **** to my truck. Learn something new every time!

Actualy your running ahead with that cam, you will pick up over half a second I bet if not a full second.

Amen to that. Mine really pulls hard after 2k. It also starts getting really loud right about there and the cops notice big time!

Just a 0-90 run. Ran really good too. No data log times just yet, I want to let the truck cam and tune feel each other out and learn a bit. From what I have been told I need to log a good 3-500 miles before all the blanks are filled iin in the pcm. Its getting stronger the more I drivd it though so i'll run a couple tanks through send out log for an updated tune and then have some fun.
