See if you can find a wiring diagram for that circuit. Should get you close to the culprit.

I had an Acura TL act like that once. Best I could tell was something triggered the alarm and it went until the brake light (I think) fuse opened. All sorts of things were on that circuit: tail lights, shift interlock solenoid etc.

Hope this helps.

Un hook battery for a while re connect clean terminals/test battery. Also check for blown fuses broken/dirty ground wires ect If all else fails have someone with a better scan took check it pull codes from all modules.

can a speed sensor cause the ABS Warning light to glow ?
I would think it could because if the ABS system can’t ’see’ the sensor, it will trigger the warning light and shut the system down. The speed sensor is there to detect the offset of speed to engage ABS, traction control etc.

On my motorcycle, it will. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t for a truck.

I would have the battery tested. These trucks act stupid when there’s an issue with the battery.
You are so right. Thanks for the LOL this morning - but you again, are spot on. Cars/trucks get very stoooopid when voltage is wonky.

A bad brake switch can make those dash lights turn on too. If you have a scanner with real-time data, you should be able to step on the brake a few times and see if it registers with the scanner. When mine went out it worked most of the time, but would flake out some times. The switch is really easy to replace.

Have the battery load tested. If the battery is failing it will generate all kinds of demons. Just because the battery starts the vehicle does not mean its good.
